And after all those other pieces I submitted, it was all for this!

The final exam piece!

Of a dragons head, all nicely coloured completely in pencil crayon on some lovely tea stained and burned paper.

OK, call me arrogant, but I'm seriously proud of this one. I love the drool in it's mouth (just had to add that), and i love how alive it looks!

You can probably see aspects of it from my other sketchbook pieces, especially the black dragon, but I like the final result best. :boogie:

Oh, and I've decided that she is a she. For no reason. So refer to her as appropriate! :D

Awesomes: The colours in the red areas, the horns, the tongue. Drool, its transparency. almost flawless colouring.

Critique: The jaw's at 3/4 angle whilst the rest of the head is 2D, the sails on the back are the same on other dragons in this collection, drool, slightly too viscous in my opinion.

Aw, luv you for the compliments! They are rather nice ones especially. ^^

And also thanks for the critique, I never noticed the 3/4 thing before that, I will bear that in mind for future projects!

And I liked the sails on Dragons, it makes them look more aquatic or swampy, as this is 'supposed' to be a swampy black dragon so there :D. But I know what you mean.^^

yeah I understand I like sails on dragons too, but if I notice myself using the same 'devices' on multiple drawings I punish myself for being unimaginative and fail, lol. It does fit in with this dragon though because of its swampness.

pick an animal ( a duck is a good choice ) and shower the picture in said animal. Always proves unique.
